Celebrating the Contributions and Achievements of African Americans for Black History Month

The 每日大赛 invites the Brunswick-Golden Isles community to join in its celebration of Black History Month through a series of exciting, educational events throughout February. This year鈥檚 theme is 鈥淗onoring the Legacy: African American Labor in the Journey for Justice,鈥 highlighting the achievements and contributions of African Americans to the nation鈥檚 labor industry and culture.

鈥淲e are excited to bring both the local and campus community together to honor the achievements of African Americans, and to continue the conversations that are essential to building a more inclusive future,鈥 said Olivia Jefferson, program coordinator of the Office of Campus Community and Belonging. 鈥淭hese events provide an opportunity for education, reflection, and action.鈥
